In the vicinity of San Pancho, Nayarit, lies a hidden gem on the rise: Lo de Marcos.
This enchanting fishing village boasts vibrant streets and a golden-sand beach with gentle waves, offering a tranquil haven between a serene pool and the vast open sea.
One of the many curiosities of Lo de Marcos is its name. As folklore has it, the names of Mexican cities and towns unveil captivating tales, rich in symbolism, culture, and history, weaving a tapestry of enchantment and wonder.
Lo de Marcos follows a similar pattern.
Legend has it that ages ago, the town was mostly owned by a wealthy landowner named Marcos. Travelers would often say, "Let's go to Marcos' place," when heading there.
Thus, the town embraced the name we know today “Lo de Marcos”. Home to this lodging house for both short and long stays.
